It's a...

BOY!

...and we are positively over the moon! I had thought girl during the first whole part of my pregnancy- I was convinced it had to be one because this time was just so different. But a couple weeks ago I started feeling like it was a boy, and Henry changed his tune too, telling me this week that there was a brother in there. Funny, right? And lo and behold...today we discovered that yes, there is a baby boy doing wonderfully in there. He was a stubborn little guy, and had his legs crossed for over an hour resulting in a long, long ultrasound (bless our patient tech!), but in the end it worked out and we got to sneak and peek.

We're all so excited. I feel so, so fortunate to have grown up with a sister, and I can't imagine a better gift for Henry than a brother to spend his days with. Feeling so lucky today, and counting down 'til August when we meet our little guy.

Thank you all for all of your excitement and support. It's so neat knowing all of you are along on this journey; I think blogging makes times like this 100x more fun, if that's even possible!

p.s. if there was audio in that photo up there, you'd hear Henry yelling CHEESE until he was red in the face. Sometimes he even yells FROMAGE! if he's feeling especially silly. Can't wait to see this rascal as a big brother.
