Easter x3

Easter is fun, especially celebrated FOUR TIMES...right? With two sets of in-laws, my parents, and then our own little family holidays can often feel like a marathon, but when I start to feel overwhelmed I just try to focus on the fact that four holidays every holiday means four times the love. But it can be hard to try to accommodate everyone and fit everything in. I'm sure you can imagine, or maybe even relate? Luckily we are doing Easter with my side of the family (and my Mom's birthday celebration) next weekend so we only did three Easters yesterday. But still- where's my towel and Gatorade people? Should have carb-loaded the night before.

A couple things about this Easter -

1. I wore comfy clothing. Like REALLY comfortable. My loose top and maxi skirt made me feel like I was wearing pajamas actually. This was a good idea.

2. We went to brunch with Hank's Dad and step-Mom Easter morning and they gave Henry a bug collection kit (gross/cool), and I discovered that THE cutest thing in all of the world is Henry holding up a magnifying glass to his eye and saying "hmm...hmm...I need to find a clue." Need to capture this on film asap.

3. Sadly, we didn't take a family photo.

Our day was wonderful though- full of lots of love, no toddler meltdowns (we're in the thick of Henry using the phrase "RIGHT NOW!"), and at the end of it Hank and I were high-fiving at how smoothly it all went.

And that night as we put Henry to bed he looked up at us and said "this was good day, guys. A GOOD day." And really, is there anything else?

Here our some photos from our Saturday morning and Sunday. xo
