Back-to-(Pre)School with Kidizen

Last month I was introduced the wonderful world of Kidizen. Have you tried it? It's basically an app full of kid's clothes listed for MUCH cheaper than you'd find them in a store because the items have been sitting around in someone's child's closet untouched until they no longer fit (I know some of you parents can relate to that!), or they're gently used. Most of the items on Kidizen are high-end brands and include some of our favorites- Mini Boden, Tea Collection, TOMS, Bobo Choses and Mini & Maximus. And they also have a lot of awesome, unique vintage items.

I wasn't really sure what to expect when I downloaded the app. But I was blown away with one, how user friendly it was, and two, how amazing all of the items were. We regularly shop at Gap, and there have been some special items over the years I wasn't able to snag for my boys before they sold out, but I was able to find them on Kidizen. I was also able to find a Mini & Maximus sweatshirt with the tags attached for over half off of retail, a new pair of shoes for Henry, and a great Mini Boden button up for a fraction of the retail price. It was fun to skip the mall and do some of his back-to-preschool shopping right from my phone. And for Charlie, I found this amazing vintage alligator romper, because a baby's gotta look good for preschool drop off, right?

Another great plus about Kidizen is that it's a great way to get a return on the never worn, or gently used items your kids have outgrown. As easy as it is to buy on Kidizen, it's just as easy to sell!

Kidizen has been featured in the iTunes App Store a number of times in categories such as Best New App for Parents and I can see why. They have an awesome community of parents that's rapidly growing and new items are being added every day.

You can download the free Kidizen app here. Then follow along with Kidizen on their blog and connect with them on their social channels too: Twitter - Facebook - Instagram - Pinterest

Let me know what you think when you try it, and let me know what you find!

Here's Henry in his new Mini & Maximus sweatshirt and Charlie in the alligator romper I will cherish forever...or until he grows out of it and I sell it back on Kidizen. ;)

and p.s. before you go, watch this video- isn't it great?
