So obviously I'm pregnant. My belly is getting bigger by the day, and there's a little fellow in there who loves to kick and twirl and twist and turn. But I forget about it a lot and then...I'm suddenly reminded. Kind of like when my friend Jennifer leaves a comment on my Facebook wall about how she hopes I sing "Cheer Up, Charlie" to Charlie when he is sad. And I don't really know what song she's talking about, so I google it. And then spend the next three minutes crying so, so hard while listening, and it hits me, HE WILL BE HERE SOON. Charlie. My second son, my little man. Baby brother, baby boy.
"Don't you know your grin, has always been my sunshine..."
The sweetest song for the sweetest little fellow, that we haven't yet met. 10 weeks.
Do you have any special songs you sing to your little one? We love "Roll With Me Henry" for our Henry, and then besides that fun one, we have some silly made-up bedtime songs that have become classics. I'd love to hear about yours. And if you're viewing this post in a reader, be sure to click out to listen to the song below!
